As most of you know we live full-time in our motor home. We enjoy spending time sight seeing around the United States and visiting our children, who are scattered all over the globe. But people often ask what else do you do without a house or yard to maintain or local community involvement to fill the days. Our answer is MMAP: Mobile Missionary Assistance Program.
My parents joined this organization in the late 80s and found it to be the highlight of their married life-actively serving the Lord together in their retirement years. Hunter and felt God's calling for us to follow "in their footsteps" as we began contemplating retirement 3 1/2 years ago. Now, with 12 MMAP projects under our belts, we can look back and see God's hand leading us into this ministry and continue to find purpose in serving others.

Currently we are working at Bethlehem Bible Camp near Bonifay, Florida. In December we will return to this same location where it appears Hunter and I will pick up paintbrushes and color the walls of some dorm rooms just completed this month by MMAPers. Oh the joy of serving Jesus-it knows no bounds!!

As we labor for the Lord we are continually reminded of our "retirement" Bible verse:
"Even in their old age they will bear fruit, they will stay fresh and green. They will declare, 'The Lord is just. He is my rock. There is only goodness in Him'" Psalm 92:14-15
